How It Works
1. Preliminary Proposal
Complete our online form and send us a copy of your electric bill. We'll put together a preliminary proposal using Aurora solar which utilizes aerial imagery and LiDAR data to map roofs, trees, and obstructions to model your rooflines and design your solar system.
2. Site Evaluation
We will schedule a site visit to confirm roof measurements, assess roof shingle integrity, check shading and orientation, and evaluate your electrical tie in.
3. Sign & Start the Process
Once we receive your signed contract and deposit, we start filing for engineering documents, permit applications, and approvals with your town and utility (Eversource or National Grid) — typically a 4–6 week process.
4. Installation
Once permits are issued, we'll schedule your install date. Installation usually takes 1–3 days.
5. Inspections & Power On
We coordinate your electrical and building inspections, handle the meter swap with your utility company, and once we get the official Permission to Operate (PTO), we'll walk you through turning your system on.
